City of Temecula issued the following announcement on Dec. 19.
It is time to ring in the New Year! Since we are still unable to gather, due to the pandemic, Temecula will welcome 2021 with a virtual concert at 7:00 pm featuring Shoot 4 Tuesday, and another performance featuring Undercover at 9:15 pm on Facebook @TemeculaParksandRec.
Please join Temecula’s City Council Members for the Virtual New Year’s Grape Drop countdown at 9:00 pm (East Coast) and 12:00 am (West Coast).
Mayor Pro Tem Maryann Edwards said, “This year’s Virtual New Year’s Eve Grape Drop will allow everyone to view Temecula’s unique, signature event from the safety, warmth, and comfort of their homes with loved ones. We definitely miss celebrating events in person, but public health and safety continue to be our top priority.”
Temecula Community Service District President and City Council Member, Zak Schwank stated, “Temecula has demonstrated great success providing our community with high-quality virtual events and programs throughout the pandemic in 2020. We remain hopeful that 2021 will bring better days ahead for all Temecula residents and our global community.”
