CITY OF CANYON LAKE: City Swears in Council Members and Appoints new Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem

City Of Canyon Lake issued the following announcement on Dec. 11. 

At the December 7th City Council Meeting, the City of Canyon Lake swore in the top three voter-getters from the November 3rd General Municipal Election. These individuals will serve on the City Council for a four year term, which expires December 2024. 

Councilman Greene and Councilman Ehrenkranz have returned to the City Council for another term, while Dale Welty will serve his first term on the City Council.

 Council Members Kasey Castillo and Jeremy Smith were appointment to serve as Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem. Mayor Castillo will serve as Mayor for the next year.

 The City and City Council also took time to thank outgoing Councilman Randy Bonner for his years of service to the City. Senator Melissa Melendez presented Councilman Bonner with a resolution from the California State Senate. 

The next City Council meeting will be in January 2021.
