Thursday, May 1: Murrieta Valley High School standout Makayla Westmoreland’s college team wins to Metro State Roadrunners

On Thursday, May 1, former Murrieta Valley High School standout Makayla Westmoreland’s current college team, the Colorado Mesa Mavericks, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Metro State Roadrunners.

The game took place at All Star Park. This was their fifth matchup against the Roadrunners this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at 11 a.m. at All Star Park against Colorado Christian Cougars.
