Sunday, March 30: Murrieta Valley High School standout Makayla Westmoreland’s college team wins to CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves

On Sunday, March 30, former Murrieta Valley High School standout Makayla Westmoreland’s current college team, the Colorado Mesa Mavericks, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves.

The game took place at CMU Softball Field. This was their fourth matchup against the ThunderWolves this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 12 p.m. at Aspen Field against Fort Lewis Skyhawks.
