Rep. Ken Calvert, who has represented California's 41st District in the U.S. Congress since 1993, recently shared his perspectives on several key issues through a series of tweets. Born in Corona, California, Calvert graduated from San Diego State University in 1975 and continues to reside in his hometown.

On March 3, 2025, Rep. Calvert expressed support for Chairman Cole's leadership and opposition to a government shutdown. He stated: "I appreciate the leadership of Chairman Cole. I completely agree - a shutdown is not an acceptable option."

Two days later, on March 5, 2025, Rep. Calvert commended President Trump for fulfilling campaign promises following a joint address to Congress. In his words: "President Trump is delivering on the promises he made during the campaign. Here is my statement on President Trump’s joint address to Congress."

Later that day, Rep. Calvert announced the introduction of new legislation aimed at public safety concerns regarding immigration policies. He tweeted: "I just introduced the HELD Act, H.R. 1821, to keep our communities safe by ensuring dangerous criminal illegal immigrants are not released onto our streets. We cannot allow misguided sanctuary policies to put Americans in danger."
