Rep. Ken Calvert, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing California's 41st District, shared several updates on his recent activities via social media on November 19, 2024. These posts reflect his ongoing engagement in legislative matters and community interactions.

In a post from November 19, 2024, Calvert reported his participation in a roundtable discussion with members of the Natural Resources Committee and tribal leaders from the 41st District. The discussion focused on "self-determination and self-governance compacts" aimed at improving service delivery to tribal members in a locally tailored manner. "I participated in a roundtable discussion today with @NatResources members and tribal leaders, including those from the 41st District, to discuss self-determination and self-governance compacts and how to provide services to tribal members in a better and uniquely local manner."

Later that day, Calvert expressed pride in joining colleagues to pass a bipartisan bill supporting veterans and their families. He acknowledged the leadership of Rep. Juan Ciscomani and Chairman Mike Bost for advancing the bill through Congress. "Proud to join together with my colleagues to pass this bipartisan bill that I cosponsored to help our veterans and their families. Thankful for the leadership and work of @RepCiscomani and Chairman @RepBost to get this bill to the floor."

In another update on November 19, Calvert celebrated the achievements of Rep. Kay Granger, commending her lifetime of service as a trailblazer within Congress. He joined fellow legislators in recognizing her significant contributions. "My good friend @RepKayGranger has been a trailblazer throughout her lifetime of service. I was happy to join my colleagues in celebration of the incredible impact she's made."
