Median home prices in Hemet fell to $274,500 in December 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2019 in Hemet fell by $500 while total sales increased by 18%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2019, there were 164 homes sold, with a median sale price of $274,500 - a 0.2% decrease over the $275,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 139 homes sold in Hemet in December 2018.

The median sales tax in Hemet for 2019 was $2,325. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,194. This marks an increase of 6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.8%.
