The fourth quarter of 2019: Home prices in Corona increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in Corona rose by $25,500 while total sales increased by 17.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were 679 homes sold, with a median sale price of $525,000 - a 5.1% increase over the $499,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 576 homes sold in Corona in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Corona for 2019 was $5,056. In 2018, the median sales tax was $4,985. This marks an increase of 1.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1%.
