Canyon Lake median home prices rose by 6.6% in the fourth quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in Canyon Lake rose by $29,000 while total sales increased by 16.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were 70 homes sold, with a median sale price of $469,000 - a 6.6% increase over the $440,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 60 homes sold in Canyon Lake in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Canyon Lake for 2019 was $4,069. In 2018, the median sales tax was $3,940. This marks an increase of 3.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.9%.
