Home prices increased in Riverside during the fourth quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in Riverside rose by $25,000 while total sales decreased by 4.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were 816 homes sold, with a median sale price of $425,000 - a 6.3% increase over the $400,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 853 homes sold in Riverside in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Riverside for 2019 was $3,074. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,941. This marks an increase of 4.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.7%.
