Pricing for the median home in Winchester decreased during the fourth quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in Winchester fell by $29,000 while total sales increased by 28.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were 145 homes sold, with a median sale price of $408,000 - a 6.6% decrease over the $437,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 113 homes sold in Winchester in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Winchester for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,805, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2019.
