City of Perris issued the following announcement on Oct. 21.
The City of Perris is developing a Parks and Recreation Master Plan and is seeking community input City officials announced on Tuesday, October 13, 2020.
The City intends to hear from residents, business owners, special interest groups, and any other interested parties and will host an online Public Forum on Thursday, November 5th at 6:30 p.m. The City of Perris will host the meeting on Zoom and all residents are encouraged to attend.
The Parks and Recreation Master Plan will look at the existing parks, recreational facilities, programs, and services, and determine the current and future level of services for the community based on public input. The plan will prioritize the needs and desires for upgrading and improving parks, recreational facilities, amenities, programs, and services.
This Public Forum will be utilized to determine priorities for Perris’ recreational facilities and activities desired by residents, discuss available funding sources, identify potential partnerships and determine how best to support the recreational needs of the community.

The meeting will include both a presentation on previous input received and provide a question and answer opportunity. Additionally, The City of Perris has retained GreenPlay, LLC - a nationally known parks and recreation management consulting firm to oversee the plan.
