Mountain Center home prices rise in 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in 2019 in Mountain Center rose by $107,250 while total sales decreased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2019, there were 30 homes sold, with a median sale price of $442,750 - a 32% increase over the $335,500 median sale price for the previous year. There were 40 homes sold in Mountain Center in 2018.

The median sales tax in Mountain Center for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,915, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for 2019.
