Hemet home prices rise in 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in 2019 in Hemet rose by $1,250 while total sales decreased by 35.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2019, there were 1,192 homes sold, with a median sale price of $266,250 - a 0.5% increase over the $265,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 1,858 homes sold in Hemet in 2018.

The median sales tax in Hemet for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,979, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for 2019.
