Winchester home prices fall in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Winchester fell by $11,000 while total sales decreased by 69.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 82 homes sold, with a median sale price of $424,000 - a 2.5% decrease over the $435,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 266 homes sold in Winchester in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Winchester for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,805, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2019.
