Winchester home prices rise in October 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2017 in Winchester rose by $16,500 while total sales increased by 30%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2017, there were 39 homes sold, with a median sale price of $400,000 - a 4.3% increase over the $383,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 30 homes sold in Winchester in October 2016.

The median sales tax in Winchester for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,805, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for October 2017.
