Winchester home prices rise in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in Winchester rose by $20,000 while total sales decreased by 10.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were 105 homes sold, with a median sale price of $385,000 - a 5.5% increase over the $365,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 117 homes sold in Winchester in the first quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Winchester for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,805, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2017.
