Hemet home prices rise in the third quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2019 in Hemet rose by $10,500 while total sales decreased by 42.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2019, there were 274 homes sold, with a median sale price of $275,500 - a 4% increase over the $265,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 477 homes sold in Hemet in the third quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Hemet for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,979, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2019.
