On Wednesday, April 2, former Vista Murrieta High School standout Kanisha Anderson’s current college team, the East Carolina Pirates, won 6-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Norfolk State Spartans.

The game took place at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Spartans this season.

The Pirates’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 4 p.m. at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium against Memphis Tigers.
