On Sunday, March 30, former Chaparral High School standout Phoenix Sommay’s current college team, the Cal State San Marcos Cougars, lost 7-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Cal Poly Pomona Broncos.

The game took place at CSUSM Baseball Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Broncos this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 2 p.m. at Seawolf Diamond against Sonoma State Seawolves.
