On Friday, April 4, former Hemet High School standouts Nolan LaChappa and Timmy LaChappa’s current college team, the Texas–Permian Basin Falcons, won 19-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Sul Ross State Lobos.

The game took place at Kokernot Field. This was their second matchup against the Lobos this season.

The Falcons’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m. at Kokernot Field against Sul Ross State Lobos.
