On Sunday, March 16, former Murrieta Valley High School standout Makayla Westmoreland’s current college team, the Colorado Mesa Mavericks, won 16-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Adams State Grizzlies.

The game took place at ASU Softball Field. This was their third matchup against the Grizzlies this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 16 at 1 p.m. at ASU Softball Field against Adams State Grizzlies.
