Rep. Ken Calvert, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing California’s 41st District since 1993, recently shared a series of tweets highlighting his activities and commitments. Born in Corona, California, in 1953, Calvert graduated from San Diego State University in 1975 with a BA.

On March 19, 2025, Rep. Calvert expressed gratitude towards SpaceX for their role in ensuring the safe return of astronauts to Earth. He tweeted: “Thank you, @SpaceX, for returning our astronauts safely back to Earth!”

Later that day, Calvert met with Riverside County Supervisor Karen Spiegel and members of the Riverside County Medical Association to discuss healthcare challenges facing the region. In his tweet on March 19, he stated: “Earlier today, I met with Riverside County Supervisor Karen Spiegel and members of the Riverside County Medical Association. On March 20, Rep. Calvert highlighted his support for permanent pay increases included in recent legislation passed by Congress. He tweeted: “I have been proud to support this effort along with my good friend @CongMikeSimpson and @HouseAppropsGOP colleagues. The permanent pay increases were included in the Full-Year Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act passed by Congress last week.”
