Ken Calvert, a long-serving U.S. Congressman representing California’s 41st District since 1993, recently shared various viewpoints and initiatives via his social media platform. Born in Corona, California in 1953, the 69-year-old currently resides in his hometown and holds a BA from San Diego State University.

On April 28, 2025, Calvert expressed his gratitude for a particular visit through his post, writing, “Thank you for an incredible visit!”

Later on the same date, Calvert voiced his opinion on sanctuary policies implemented by Democrats. He stated, “Sanctuary policies put in place by Democrats do nothing but put the safety of American citizens at risk and make it harder to detain and deport dangerous illegal immigrant criminals. I support President Trump’s crackdown on these misguided policies.”

In another tweet on April 28, he praised a proposed legislative bill aimed at consumer transparency in the hotel and lodging industry. Calvert said, “This bill will give consumers a clear, upfront price when they look for a hotel or other short-term lodging. I thank my colleague @RepYoungKim for introducing this legislation.”

Calvert’s activity on this day highlights his continued engagement with policy discussions and legislative efforts aligning with his views and the interests of his constituents.
