He stated: “These are straightforward steps that help strengthen the integrity of our elections and ensure only American citizens cast a ballot.”
The following day, on March 26, 2025, he expressed support for former President Trump’s stance on protecting social welfare programs. In his tweet, he noted: “Like President Trump makes clear in this interview, Republicans are protecting Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid for Americans who rely upon these important programs. He tweeted: “There are a variety of education paths that students can pursue in preparation to join the workforce. I’ve cosponsored the bipartisan Freedom to Invest in Tomorrow’s Workforce Act, which would permit the use of 529 account funds to pay for post-secondary training programs.”
