Rep. Ken Calvert, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing California’s 41st District since 1993, shared his thoughts on recent events through a series of tweets. Born in Corona, California in 1953, Calvert graduated from San Diego State University in 1975 and currently resides in his hometown.

On May 18, 2025, Rep. Calvert expressed gratitude for the recovery of individuals injured in a bombing incident. He stated, “Grateful to hear everyone injured in yesterday’s bombing has been released from the hospital. Also thankful that all embryos at the IVF facility are miraculously unharmed.” He praised the resilience of the Palm Springs community amidst adversity.

Later that day, he conveyed his concern for former President Biden’s health by tweeting, “I’m sorry to hear this news and hope former President Biden has a speedy recovery.”

On May 19, 2025, Rep. Calvert acknowledged the support provided to local authorities following the Palm Springs bombing. He tweeted his appreciation by saying, “I’m thankful for the support @AGPamBondi, @TheJusticeDept, @ATFHQ, @USAO_LosAngeles, and @FBILosAngeles has provided to the Palm Springs Police Department.”
