On Sunday, April 6, former Vista Murrieta High School standout Kanisha Anderson’s current college team, the East Carolina Pirates, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Memphis Tigers.

The game took place at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Pirates’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9 at 6 p.m. at Anderson Softball Stadium against North Carolina Tar Heels.
