On Sunday, March 2, former Murrieta Valley High School standouts Jake Adams and Trevor Schott’s current college team, the Cal State San Marcos Cougars, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Cal State Los Angeles Golden Eagles.
The game took place at Reeder Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.
The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 2 p.m. at CSUSM Baseball Field against Tampa Spartans.
