The Henderson State Reddies, featuring former Vista Murrieta High School standout Penelope Foote, were defeated 4-2 by the Delta State Lady Statesmen in NCAA Division II softball on Wednesday, March 4, at 2 p.m.
The matchup occurred at Delta University Field and marked the first meeting between the teams this season.
Foote contributed three hits in four at-bats, scoring one run and driving in another.
Henderson State is set to play Delta State Lady Statesmen again on Wednesday, March 4, at 4 p.m. at the same venue.
