On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Hemet High School standouts Nolan LaChappa and Timmy LaChappa’s current college team, the Texas–Permian Basin Falcons, lost 16-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the St. Edward’s Hilltoppers.

The game took place at Roden Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Hilltoppers this season.

The Falcons’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 2 p.m. at Wilder Park against West Texas A&M Buffaloes.
