On Friday, April 25, former Hemet High School standouts Nolan LaChappa and Timmy LaChappa’s current college team, the Texas–Permian Basin Falcons, lost 21-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Lubbock Christian Chaparrals.

The game took place at Roden Field. This was their first matchup against the Chaparrals this season.

The Falcons’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 26 at 12 p.m. at Roden Field against Lubbock Christian Chaparrals.
