Hawaii–Hilo Vulcans fall to Biola Eagles in NCAA Division II matchup featuring Blake Saucedo

The Hawaii–Hilo Vulcans, including former Paloma Valley High School standout Blake Saucedo, were defeated 13-3 by the Biola Eagles in an NCAA Division II baseball game on Wednesday, March 4, at 6 p.m.

The matchup, held at Francis Wong Stadium, marked the teams’ second contest of the season. In the earlier game on Wednesday, March 4, the Vulcans were also beaten 13-3 by Biola.

Saucedo pitched 2.1 innings, giving up three earned runs. He allowed two walks and notched three strikeouts.

The Vulcans are set to play the Biola Eagles again on Thursday, March 5, at 3 p.m. at Francis Wong Stadium.
