On Friday, Feb. 28, former Linfield Christian School standout Vanessa Perez’s current college team, the Liberty Lady Flames, won 6-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Georgetown Hoyas.

The game took place at Kamphuis Field at Liberty Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Hoyas this season.

The Lady Flames’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 3 p.m. at Kamphuis Field at Liberty Softball Stadium against Lehigh Mountain Hawks.
