Former Temescal Canyon High School standout Xiane Romero played on Saturday, May 17 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division I Softball Championship

On Saturday, May 17, former Temescal Canyon High School standout Xiane Romero’s current collegiate team the Mississippi State Bulldogs won 11-10 against the Washington Huskies in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship.

The game took place at Rocky Johnson Field at 6:40 p.m. and was the second matchup against the Washington Huskies in the tournament.

The Mississippi State Bulldogs’ next game will take place on Sunday, May 18 at 2 p.m. at Rocky Johnson Field.
