Chaparral High School standout Phoenix Sommay’s college team won in NCAA Division II baseball game on Friday, March 21

On Friday, March 21, former Chaparral High School standout Phoenix Sommay’s current college team, the Cal State San Marcos Cougars, won 10-9 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the San Francisco State Gators.

The game took place at Maloney Field. This was their first matchup against the Gators this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 12 p.m. at Maloney Field against San Francisco State Gators.
