Former Great Oak High School standout Brianna Thomas and her Cal State Los Angeles Golden Eagles team were defeated 79-75 by the Vanguard Lions in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament on Friday, March 13.
The matchup, which started at 7:30 p.m. in Nicholson Arena, marked the Golden Eagles’ first meeting against Vanguard in this tournament.
